CAIE: Extension of Early Bird Registration to July 15 and Launching of the Preliminary Program

Montréal, Canada. 06/14/2017.-  The early bird registration for the Fifth Edition of the Conference of the Americas on International Education (CAIE Canada-2017) has been extended until July 15, 2017. CAEI Canada-2017 will be held on October 11-13, 2017 in Montreal, Canada, which has recently ranked as the best student city according to the QS Best Student Cities 2017.

To learn more about the conference, CAIE presents its preliminary program, that includes officials from government and higher education institutions, representatives of international organizations, authorities in the field of the education, as well as academics from the Americas and around the world.

Under the title Preparing the Leaders and Innovators of Tomorrow: Research and Higher Education, Bridges to Prosperity in the Americas, CAEI’s Fifth Edition will feature three plenary sessions, a variety of workshops, parallel sessions, networking activities and a broad exhibition area. Among other notable attendees, CAIE Canada-2017 is glad to welcome the Minister of Education for Panama, Marcela Paredes; the Secretary of University Policy for Argentina, Albor Cantard; and the Deputy Secretary of Higher Education for Mexico, Salvador Jara, under the Honorable Presidency of the Minister responsible for Higher Education in the Canadian province of Quebec, Hélène David.

CAIE’s Executive Secretariat, with its headquarters at the Inter-American Organization for Higher Education (IOHE), in collaboration with the CAIE Canada-2017 National Committee, composed of the five Montreal universities (Université du Québec à Montréal – UQAM, Concordia University, McGill University, Université de Montréal – UDEM, and École de Technologie Supérieur – ÉTS), is committed to offer academic activities of excellence.
